American Contractor Exam Services is offering a variety of online Georgia Real Estate Appraiser continuing education. All of our Online Georgia Appraiser continuing education courses are awaiting approval by the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board. These courses have implemented the adopted changes to the Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria that became effective in Georgia July 1, 2005. The courses are written by inspectors, instructors, and leading appraisers with years of knowledge and experience. - Ethics in Real Estate - This online course covers duties to clients and customers, duties to the public, duties to REALTORS, and case studies.
- Fair Housing - The topics included in this course reviews interference, coercion, intimidation, subpoenas, discrimination in residential real estate-related transactions, discrimination in the sale or rental of housing, and other prohibited practices
- HUD Appraisal Requirements - Georgia continuing education that includes lessons on specifications and site, builder's certification of plans, and HUD forms.
- Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice(USPAP) Review - Reviews current changes in the USPAP. This covers topics such as definitions, ethics rules, competency rules, jurisdictional exception, and scope of work.
We are currently developing Georgia real estate appraiser continuing education courses. These course will cover such topics as ethics in real estate, fair housing, HUD appraisal requirements, and changes to the USPAP. These are the current requirements for renewing your Georgia Real Estate appraiser license. We will always provide the newest information available and will update the requirements as soon as there are changes.
- To renew your Real Estate Appraiser license in the state of Georgia, you are required to complete 14 hours of continuing education every year.
- Your license expires every year. Your continuing education must be complete prior to expiration.
- Approved schools are responsible for providing certificates of completion to the Board.
- Licensees may want to retain verification of course completion for own records.
